Have you heard of the movie The Secret? It has been an amazing success on the internet. It is mainly concerned with convincing people that there is indeed a secret - one that many successful people have used since time immemorial to produce outstanding results in their lives. Many people have claimed to have applied it to their lives to create astonishing wealth.

The secret was first mentioned by Napoleon Hill in his classic work Think and Grow Rich but the man also left his readers with a small problem - he didn't actually tell people what the secret was - not overtly. Consequently, ever since the publication of that book, people have continued to search for Napoleon Hill's secret. If, as he claims, at the time of publication around five hundred extremely wealthy men attributed their success to this secret, then it must be worth a little of our time to investigate what he is talking about!

Napoleon Hill was born in 1883 in Virginia, USA. His early career was as a newspaper reporter during which time he met and interviewed the wealthy entrepreneur Andrew Carnegie who issued him with a challenge. Carnegie commissioned Hill to interview those five hundred exceedingly wealthy men and, from the experience, distil the secret of success into a simple workable formula. He accepted the challenge and the resulting book took him all of twenty years to produce.

There have been many diverse interpretations of the secret; including the notion that there is no secret at all. That is, the secret is that you don't need to learn anything; you need to do something - and it's an interesting interpretation if a little off-the-mark. In the movie, the secret is interpreted as the principle expounded by many self-help gurus; usually called the Law of Attraction or the principle that that like attracts like. Others have looked to Hill's additional writings, on the subject of success, to provide a definitive answer to his conundrum.

However there turns out to be a very straight-forward answer to the question. The secret is a very simple formula that anyone can apply to create abundance in their lives. When you know the secret, you will be amazed by its simplicity; and when you apply it, you will be amazed at its power. When you know for yourself that it actually works, you will become literally unstoppable in your business activities - whatever they are.

The formula can be applied over and over again in your life to create the wealth and abundance you desire; and each time you use it, the success you enjoy will reinforce in your own mind the fact that your search is finally over. Just imagine for one moment what being in possession of such a life-changing secret can do for you: what would you do if you could create the wealth that is promised in that famous title - Think and Grow Rich?

So what exactly is this powerful secret - mentioned, but not revealed, by Napoleon Hill? Well, that is the subject of a new book published by White Dove Books; and you can get your copy, free of charge by instant download, using the link below. In this book Napoleon Hill's secret is revealed openly so that anyone who cares to use it might generate their desired level of income.

Success is Attainable

Welcome once again to success tips on my blog.I believe that the previous post (success and habits) was useful to you.
Today I like to start by saying that "SUCCESS is NOT only the achievement of personal set goals but who you are and the ability to find a purpose to why you exist in the first place. Therefore success can be said to come from the heart;because it is who you are.
It is popularly said that only an insane person does things the same way and expect to get a different result. This implies that if you have failed in any aspect of life before, you need to do something different from the way you did it the last time so you could obtain a better result. Also if you expect a greater success level than you experienced before now you need to do more.To do what you have never done before, you have to become who you have never been before.
THOUGHT PATTERN,CONFESSION,VISION,SELF IMAGE,and ACTION are elements of personal transformation which will go a long way to change you from who you are to who you want to be.To be continued...

success and habits

HABIT is what we do continuously over a long period of time and therefore becomes a part of us.We may not be able to decide our destiny directly though,we are able to decide what habit(s) we imbibe.Habit determines our character, and our character determines our destiny and of course everyone desires a successful destiny.Hence the need to cultivate habits that attract success.

The following are some of the habits that if formed will produce success:
  • Preparedness to take responsibility
  • Action orientation
  • Decision
  • Innovation
  • Planning
  • Time management
  • IntegrityExcellence
  • Service
  • Associating with the right people
  • Persistence
  • Positive confession etc.
The ability to reproduce these efforts directed at inculcating the above habits builds up character and success becomes inevitable and performance at what is done improves.
Your performance strengthens your mind, thoughts and actions, taking you beyond the mediocre strategy of an average existence... giving you a revolutionary new way to access your true potential and achieve monumental results.
Bill Gates said “If you give people tools, [and they use] their natural abilities and their curiosity, they will develop things in ways that will surprise you very much beyond what you might have expected.”It goes to say that as unimportant as each of the habits you imbibe may look it goes a long way to determine how far you go in life.

The vast majority of people believe success, achievement, prosperity and happiness are things that just occur for some and not for others?
Statistics have shown that a large percentage of people believe, but perhaps don’t outwardly admit, that it is simply destiny or an outside force that we have no control over that deems us to be successful or average.
Try applying this way of thinking to a more defined matter. Picture this hypothetical situation. While on a walk through the park you run into an old friend, Joe. While you rehash on times past, Joe mentions that he is planning to become a lawyer. You ask Joe what law school he plans on attending, or if he is attending one now. Joe’s response: “I don’t attend a law school and I don’t plan on attending one. I feel I am simply destined to become a lawyer”.
What would your reaction be to this statement? How do you feel about Joe’s odds of becoming a lawyer? Wouldn’t it be extremely difficult if not impossible for Joe to become a lawyer without proper training when one considers the body of regulations that govern the legal world? A series of prerequisites must be met before one can become a lawyer—requisites that only law schools provide.

Most of us know that success within any profession, such as medicine, law, or automotive repair, demands thorough studying and diligent practice. To become a doctor, you must study medicine. To master Kung-Fu you must train with a Kung-Fu Master. Great chefs attend world-class culinary schools.
Professional accomplishment in a certain field demands vigorous action and intense study in that discipline, regardless of the vocation. A hypothetical conversation such as the one just presented is likely to never occur, because every regular Joe knows that a career as an attorney begins with studying law. Becoming a lawyer has everything to do with taking action to such an end, and very little to do with magical forces or destiny.

Common knowledge has bestowed upon us this level of understanding, but there is much that common knowledge doesn’t seem to cover: the way to a successful life.
To master the profession of achievement begins just like any other profession; it requires certain study. Just as anything else, the requisite habits must be learnt.
